EP Things I Still Use Even Though I’m Weaned

March 18, 2025

When you exclusively pump — whether by choice or necessity — it’s easy to end up investing in a lot of pumping products, gadgets, and accessories that promise to make the process easier. The truth? Many of them are short-term solutions you’ll only use for a few months. But some gear is worth every penny because it has a life beyond pumping.

After 14 months of exclusive pumping, I’ve found several products I still reach for daily, even though I’m fully weaned. These items have stood the test of time, proving that the best pumping gear can double as everyday mom-life essentials.

Ceres Chill – converts to a water bottle or coffee tumbler

I used this for my MOTN pumps to store my milk as it’s designed to keep your milk cold up to 20 hours as well as to get out and about without having to worry about milk storage. Ceres Chill actually sells a Happily Ever After bundle that converts your chiller to a water bottle or tumbler! They even have lids to convert the inner chambers to sippy cups for your littles! Use code THATMILLENNIALMOM for 15% off on the Ceres Chill website.

Davin & Adley Bras – Amelia crop cami’s are super comfy to workout & sleep in

I was a smaller flange size girlie (15 mm) so I was really particular about what bras I wore because most were designed for larger flanges and the only bras I felt like my flanges were secure in were the Davin & Adley Ameilia bralette and Crop Cami. I bought the Crop Cami late in the game and basically lived in them and still do to this day. They’re easy and comfy to throw on under shirts if I need an extra layer, double as a sports bra (I’m small chested so this works for me) and I’ll still sleep in them! Use code THATMILLENIALMOM on the Davin & Adley website for 10% off!

Sarah Wells Norah Backpack & PackSwell Organizers – Pump + Diaper Bag

Investing in a really solid pump bag that can do more than just store your pumps and milk is a big deal. I was gifted the Sarah Wells Norah Backpack as a collaboration deal and it was truly life changing for me. You can read my entire review and breakdown here. But now that I’m not pumping, the insulated zippered pockets are a great place to store food/drink if you’re going to be out of the house for a while! It comes with us to the zoo, the aquarium and playdates because it stores literally everything! I use the PackSwell Organizers to keep food/various odds and ends in my diaper bag as well.

Tap Light – From pump caddy and beyond

This little guy lived next to my Ceres Chill on my night stand for my MOTN pumps and once I dropped those, I kept them in my pump caddy so when I sat on the couch for my first AM pump, I would use that instead of the big lights! I now keep it on my bathroom counter and use it when I get up early so I still don’t have to turn on the big lights! And I know I need to clean the mirror…I think my husband brushes his teeth with his mouth wide open??? Like where is there so much water on the mirror?!

Upright Bottle Drying Rack – mount that baby to wall

We have a smaller kitchen and pump parts and bottles were taking over our drying mat and counter so we mounted two different bottle racks to the wall and decided that they were so efficient that we left them and use them to dry my little guy’s cups and tumblers amongst other small things! Is it cute? No. Is it efficient? Yes, absolutely!

All in all, you don’t have to buy any of these things! But it’s really great to be able to find products and tools that can live on after you’re weaned and the pumps are officially stored away!
